The Weekend Flight Report from WesMar
Aviation was committed at WesMar Sunday with 42 tows starting around 11:00 and ending near sunset.
Flight of the day…Bernie Fullencamp hooked a good one off a 600+ ft tow and climbed out to over 2000 in his paraglider staying up about 35 minutes. Steve Walko did some serious scratching staying up almost a half hour in his Sting and John Dudley had the fun of soaring my Xtralite with a Red Tail Hawk.
New student Josh Kimble had a near perfect first day on the Condor. Dave Graney enjoyed a few flights in his new Z5 harness and Mike Peters has made a full circle coming back to hang gliding after a 30 some year hiatus into sail planes and general aviation.
It was fun to see 2 hang gliders and a paraglider all soaring at once. All this plus the Murphy’s, Eric Proulx, Matt Kollman, Don Emslie, Bushy, and the sky divers. Ah, spring has arrived!
