To join the Ohio Flyers you must pay the annual dues of $30 and
you must fill out and sign our application and wavier forms. You must
sign this wavier and join the club before flying at any
of the official club flying sites. To get the appropriate forms
contact either the club secretary or club treasurer.
Although it is not a
requirement that you join the USHGA
before joining our club, it is highly recommended. Only USHGA
members are allowed to fly at our official sites. This is for
safety and insurance reasons.
Please help us to preserve our precious flying sites. Just one
wrong move by one person - member or not - can close these sites
for all pilots!
All members should plan to help a day or two each season with
site maintenance. Weed whacking, tree trimming, and site
improvement don't just happen by magic. When enough people show
up, these days are easy and make flying safer and more
enjoyable the rest of the year.
