I have been out of town and just read the updates. I am very sorry to hear of the accident and will keep Terry in prayer. Glad to hear no surgery is required.

Are you baggin me?? Sense when is ANYTHING!! I say quotable???????

Don't y'all know I only speak AFTER an infusion of some kind of intoxicant, capable of enabling me to see better that is, has been absorbed. And may I point out again "not until" same, do I even have an opinion. OK scratch that. I always have an opinion...good, bad or indifferent.

BUT!

This boy has been injured and I do consider the "medical" community at it's best with their ability to manage pain, patch up broken parts along and their diagnostics prowess, thee only assets there. As for leaveing the planet... well that is a different earth science all together. NUF-said...please! I do not need another bad rep.

Terry, I love ya man. Get well soon friend! primavera

Hi gang!

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and phone calles, etc. You all are a wonderful bunch of people. I love that we've moved this group beyond being a club and formed into a community. My thanks to everyone.

I'm home for a couple of days. My lungs healed up OK. The collarbone decided to give me some trouble my not staying in position. It is kind of messed up, so they"ve decided a little welding and concrete are in order. Actually, they"ll probably use titanium plates and screws to bolt my bones in place while they heal. I go back on Tuesday for that procedure.

For now, I think I'm going to go find some lunch and take a nap.

Thanks again!
Terry

Default Latest update from Terry

I see it's been 10 days since I last posted here, so I thought I'd toss out an update on my recovery. I had surgery a week ago Tuesday on my collarbone. That all went very well and my recovery has been good. I saw the doctor Monday and he removed the bandages and told me to begin some range of motion work to limber up the shoulder and arm. I'm not allowed to put any weight on the arm or use it for anything yet. He plans to start rehab on it after I see him at the end of July. All-in-all, it's going well.

With any luck, maybe I can be in the air again this fall.

Thanks, again, to everyone,
Terry

I'm glad that's going well. I healed quick after my surgery, I'm sure you'll be back by the end of summer. Cheers to you!

Terry, good to hear that things are going well. Come on out when you get a chance and say hi, even if flying isn't in the cards for a while.
