Going XC isn't high on my priority list but the topic would be interesting. Not making a commitment here but wondering if a tug pilot is also needed? Is the planned venue WesMar? Did Felipe forget how to post here? I know, lots of questions. Thanks for being the intermediary Craig.

I've heard Mike talk a couple times at various gatherings. I don't know how those differ from his paid programing, but you can take what he says and apply it to the 100 mile flight, or simply from one thermal to the next.

I think he is doing just a ground school, but I won't swear to that. Also he is talking about an 8 hour class over 3 days. Sounds like room for flying in between. I can't vouch for anyone else, but I can say I will probably need a tug pilot at some point over the weekend.

Has Felipe ever posted here?

Default Mike Barber Seminar

Thanks John for making me aware that I was barking up a lonely tree. It seems that there are at least three pilots interested so far: Primavera, Alden, Rob. The more, the less expensive it becomes. The dates he proposes are: Sept 10, 11, and 12. Who else is interested?

Default Barber

I would be interested in flying with Mike. Since I have already did the ground school. I had talked to him a month ago about what he charges for going XC with him but, I had accidentally deleted it. So, if the opportunity would present itself to go XC with him that would be great and count me in.

I think everyone who hang glides could take some useful information away from Mike's clinic and use it to better their skills be it XC pilot, tug pilot or pole setters, this is a great opportunity. Count me in.
Next question, where? WesMar? Where at at Wesmar and will there be a need for lights, roof, and if it's raining a secondary option?

I'm in as well! Should the weather be crapy, I welcome everyone to come over my house in Westerville. Eric

Don't mean to be the wet blanket, got a little more work yesterday and it is all about maintaining income these days. Can give up one day but not three. I'm out of the seminar. I hope it will still happen. That is one smart fella. primavera

Count me in for the training Saturday and Sunday. I don't know what time I will arrive Friday evening since I will be coming in from Chicago so that night is really iffy for me.
