Default Hang Gliding Advice

Hello all, I'm a new member. Some of you with really good memories might remember me showing up at WesMar late last year just to chat, but I've only recently gotten around to actually joining the club.

I'm having trouble actually getting into the air due to being a paraglider pilot. It wasn't a problem when I was in New Mexico and had a nice, no-trees hill to run off of. Here in Ohio, it's... problematic.

I'm considering picking up Hang Gliding so I can take advantage of the chance to be towed into the air, and I was wondering if anybody could give me some general advice on what to expect in terms of cost and time commitment, as well as where to get properly trained so I don't pose a threat to myself or others.

It'll probably be a little while before I can actually make use of the advice, since I'm currently job hunting and need to make sure I have a steady income before I pick up another expensive hobby. I just wanted to get an idea of what I might be getting myself into here.
