Default New Club Site

Edgewater Park, Cleveland MetroParks.

Maybe you've heard of it, maybe you haven't. It is a smallish hill where land meets water. Where once that water burned! (Ok it was the Cuyahoga River not the lake...).

Edgewater Park has been included in the Ohio Flyers list of Insured Sites. It seems we have a smackeral of PG pilots who have joined the club and secured the site for HG and PG use.

Anyone wishing to fly the sight will need both USHPA and Ohio Flyer memberships in good standings. The Cleveland MetroParks have a waiver you must also sign.

I know the site is a small little hill with no bail out. You get up or you get wet. Other than the need for strong winds coming up the hill, I don't know much more about the site. Filipe knows about flying HGs there, and One of our new PG members (Jon, Micheal, or Brian that I know for sure) could tell you more about their PG adventures. Jon has some interesting photos you can see HERE
